Wellamar founder, Mark Sibilia, describes his own personal journey that drew him to Amaranth and start a new venture dedicated to promoting this incredible plant.
A Chance Meeting:
As a 70-year-old sports enthusiast, I'm no stranger to the aches and challenges that life's adventures have gifted me with, notably painful joints and a battle with maintaining a healthy weight. The game-changer, however, presented itself in the form of a chance encounter with a resilient 75-year-old doctor originally from the Ukraine, but living in Toronto, Canada. This man had stared down the barrel of a stage 4 cancer diagnosis and emerged victorious, a feat he attributed not to conventional treatments, but to the powerful properties of a self-presribed natural remedy - Amaranth grains and oils.
At first, it seemed like an extraordinary claim. But the evidence was there, etched into his very being.
